Gray Paint and Brass Watch Bangle

Truly a piece of art jewelry, this oval shaped watch bracelet is made of cast acrylic metallic paints. There is an exposed brass foundation to make this bracelet be a firm shape. The cast paint layer is attached with screws. The paint is combined with thicker acrylic mediums to allow for all of the watch parts to actually BE paint. These bracelets are quite lightweight, resist scratches, and comfortable to wear.

This bracelet is part of a series of cast one kind acrylic paint bracelets. Molds were taken from "Watches, Watches" a larger tapestry of over 1500 watch links found over 39 months. Each bracelet is a fragment of the collection in one month of 2009.
